About project
This is SŌM's full e-commerce site, built for two audiences at once: people buying the drinks, and partners growing the brand's reach. It's not just a shop, the customer path covers discovery, ritual education and elixirs story, while a parallel path takes stockists and affiliates from the brand's story to a partnership application, so both relationships are fully thought through.
Project task
The challenge was that a buyer needs hard facts, composition, dosage, what each product does, while the brand needs room to tell a bigger story about where it comes from. The site had to hold both without exploring it and buying from it ever feeling like two different places.

Concept
We split the experience into two layers that had to coexist without competing. The functional layer, product value, composition, dosage, benefits, is built so nothing requires digging, clear hierarchy, plain language, answers surfaced before the visitor has to look for them. The narrative layer does the opposite on purpose, bolder typography, slower pacing, more atmosphere, pulling the visitor into SŌM's world and telling the story from an angle the utility pages never could. The result reads less like a shop with a blog attached and more like one ecosystem, where every question has an answer and every answer has a mood.
Website pages

The part I enjoyed most was deciding exactly where the shift happens, which pages stay plain and useful and which get to go moody and cinematic, and making that switch feel intentional instead of jarring.
